Imago Relationship Therapist
Amy is an Imago Relationship Therapist. She listens deeply and reflects your inner wisdom back to you. She helps cut through the chaos of the mind and honor the wisdom of the heart. Her embodied presence and unique techniques help couples learn to transmute stress, exhaustion, and conflict into an extraordinary life of radical self-care and powerful loving connection and presence.
She is a published author of her first book, a transformational memoir, called Moonshot: aim high, dive deep, live an extraordinary life.
We live in a relational paradigm.
Relational health can be the ultimate reward in life.
The return on investment in self-care and relational healing is immense.
Amy has experienced continual transformation and healing in her own life. Recovering from alcoholism, sexual trauma, racial violence, and dysfunction in dominant culture, Amy is resilient and resourceful. She believes there is no such thing as a low maintenance human being. Just scratch the surface, and you will find unmet needs and unhealed wounds. Therefore, each relationship requires maintenance: energy and loving attention. You matter. Your relationships matter. Amy knows that what matters most deserves our attention and support.
Cutting through chaos of dominant culture, opening minds riddled with lack, rekindling souls starving for connection, Amy is ready to connect with you to see if it’s a good fit.
A dedicated woman of integrity. Amy sees her roles as wife, mother, daughter, compassion activist, yogini, paddler, and fellow human being as an ever expanding opportunity to heal the planet, one relationship at a time.
She brings her best self forth and aims to be a powerful presence for regeneration in the world, all while cultivating joy and adventure. Amy intertwines addictions recovery, relationship theories, and contemplative practices, into an integrative and holistic coaching approach.
a few testimonials:
“For 2 days my mind had been in a fog and my body was very tired, even though I was able to do lots of stuff. So, I was quite tired when I arrived at the park. BUT as I sat at the table, listening and participating, I realized suddenly that I was no longer tired, had lots of energy, and was surrounded with a healthy calm. I also realized that you personally radiate a tremendous healing energy. We know this is, of course, Divine energy. But you are a very rare person that brings that energy to others and very quickly.” participant of Moonshot Magic workshop
“As I’m sitting here, I’m experiencing a deep sense of gratitude for the growth that we have experienced as individuals and as partners since our time working with you. Your message made me reflect back on that time, and on the time since our last meeting…and I can honestly say that I feel that we have been able to utilize many of the skills and tools that you shared with us to help us in cultivating the space between, our relationship garden. We have been more intentional about holding space for ourselves and our relationship, and more time for meditation and self awareness.” former male client who came for couple’s coaching
“Amy Elizabeth embodies Divine presence of spaciousness and acceptance.” Kimberly Baker, colleague
